The Salty Seagull is a family-owned, top-floor beachside apartment offering cosy, comfy, luxury seaside living…just a few steps from the sands of Encounter Bay.
The apartment’s modern coastal furnishings and seaside-inspired décor have all been carefully hand-selected by our family to create a welcoming sense of ‘luxury with personality’.
And of course, the views are simply spectacular! Walk in, head onto the private balcony and be mesmerised by our panoramic position overlooking Encounter Bay, The Bluff, Granite Island and right across the southern Fleurieu coastline.

The Salty Seagull offers a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, separate dining and luxury living – all opening on to the fully covered, private balcony and those incredible views.
On sunny days, throw open the glass doors to enjoy breakfast at the balcony’s stone dining suite. As the evening cools, snuggle up beside the feature stone fireplace to enjoy a movie or family games night.
We provide a huge selection of board and card games, puzzles and toys for the little ones, as well as a PlayStation and library of games. Our 65-inch smart TV has access to all of your favourite streaming accounts, a HDMI input cord as well as our personal digital library filled with hundreds of movies for all ages.
For the ultimate holiday experience our apartment even features a cinema-style popcorn machine – perfect for a movie night on our 65-inch smart TV!

The Salty Seagull’s three spacious bedrooms all feature built-in wardrobes, luxe plush mattresses, fine French linens and beautiful styling to ensure you feel relaxed the moment you step inside.
The Palm Room boasts large picture windows looking straight out onto the ocean, along with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. A ceiling fan and reverse-cycle air con will keep you at the perfect temperature, with bedside chargers to keep you connected.
The spacious Ocean Room features a glass door to its own private balcony, overlooking the neighbouring creek and bushland so rich in local birdlife. Bedside chargers and a plush queen-sized bed will ensure the perfect sleep.
The Seaside Room has been created as a children’s beachside paradise! From cheeky pufferfish to wallowing whales, the room is filled with fun features to delight your little ones. Inside the wardrobe you’ll find a selection of books and toys to keep little hands busy, while twin single beds will ensure a good night’s rest after busy days on the beach.
A trundle bed and porta cot are also available on request.
The bathrooms…
The apartment’s main bathroom features a stone-topped vanity, glass shower and full-sized bath, with a separate toilet and vanity located off the laundry.
The Palm Room’s ensuite bathroom features a stone-topped vanity, glass shower and toilet.
All towels and luxurious little toiletries are provided on arrival.
